ELLEN H. ARNOLD, CFRE
PRINCIPAL

Ellen
Arnold is our newest principal, joining the firm in July 2007 upon her
retirement after 10 years as Vice President of Institutional Advancement for
The Brethren Home Foundation in New Oxford. Mrs. Arnold has over 25
years of experience in development and non-profit management with additional
positions at Lebanon Valley College, The Allied Arts Fund (founding
executive director) and The American Red Cross (Lycoming County). She
has served as board chair for the Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation, The
Kiwanis Club of Hanover and the Lebanon County Chapter of The American Red
Cross and has extensive volunteer leadership involvement with Hemlock and
Penn Laurel Girl Scout Councils. She is a volunteer Fund Development
Specialist for Girl Scouts of the USA. In addition, she has been
active with Chambers of Commerce in Harrisburg, Lebanon and Hanover.
Mrs. Arnold is a director and past president of the Central Pennsylvania
Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and chaired the
association's national Continuing Education Unit Review Committee. She
was recognized in 2000 as the Central Pennsylvania Fund Raising Executive of
the Year. |

RICHARD F. CHARLES, CFRE
MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Dick Charles has been a senior development officer for more than
thirty years, personally directing campaigns aggregating over $75 million.
He has served as vice president at Lebanon Valley College and Wilkes University, and in
senior development and alumni capacities at Franklin & Marshall College. His
career assignments include director of public relations for the Hamilton
Watch Company and the American Red Cross in education and public information
positions. He has served on a wide variety of boards, including Fulton
Opera House Foundation, North Museum, Urban League of Lancaster County, Boy
Scouts of America, Sordoni Art Gallery,
Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery and Greater Annville
Committee. In 2006 he was re-elected Vice President of the Annville
(PA) Township Board of Commissioners and recently completed eight years as a national director of
the American Cancer Society and had served as Board Chair of the Society's
Pennsylvania Division. Mr. Charles is a past president of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of
Fundraising Professionals (formerly NSFRE) and in 2002 was named Central PA
Fund Raising Executive of the Year. |

THOMAS R. STONE, Ph.D., CFRE
PRINCIPAL

Dr. Tom Stone was Founding President and CEO of Whitaker
Center for Science and the arts for nine years, retiring from Whitaker and
joining Franklin Consulting in early 2002. His experience includes 27
years in the US Army (retiring as a colonel), management of the Capital
Cultural Campaign which yielded over $1 million and he led Whitaker Center
through a capital campaign which exceeded its $52 million goal. As a
volunteer, Dr. Stone has served as International President, Cosmopolitan
International and as Board Chair, Cosmopolitan Diabetes Foundation. He
is a Founding Director of the Modern Transit Partnership, a Founding Member
of the Steering Committee of the Capital Area School for the Arts, a member
of the Board of the Community Action Commission. Tom is a Board Member and Past President of
the Cumberland-Perry Association for Retarded Citizens. He us a
director of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter, Association of Fundraising
Professionals (AFP) and currently co-chairs the Senior Professionals,
Training and Certification Committee. In 1998 he was named Central PA
Fund Raising Executive of the Year.
